I knocked on Veruca's door. I always came to her.

I looked around at the mess on the floor, and then at the mess that was me.

"Come in?" I said vaguely, pulling a blanket off the bed and wrapping it around me as I walked into the living room.

I walked into her place closing the door behind me, "hey." I said when I saw her.
