I have a job interview in the morning. I don't remember the last time I actually interviewed for a job. Usually, I'm turning down offers. I'm still turning down offers, actually. No one's offering anything I want ( Read more... )

So do you have another name picked out yet? You know, besides Blob.

Also? I'm pretty sure the espresso would make your sleep deprivation worse, but anyway sorry about making the house smell so nice.

We have a growing list of name's we don't like, but nothing on the list of names we do.

It's more the caffeine molecules in the air keeping me awake. I swear.

Do you have the original picture of CJ doing the RTV thing? The one used in that icon. I'd love it if you could lend it to me. :)

Almost 20 weeks. It's-- bizarre. Don't get me wrong, it's wonderful, but it's bizarre.

How are you doing, kiddo?

Well then, Almost 20 more weeks to go. Jo is great and I'm sure your baby girl will be fantastic as well.

I'm fine, Why do you ask?

That's what I keep telling myself. Honestly, as cliché as it is, I haven't even really thought about 'fantastic'. I've just been praying for healthy.

Just checking in. I-- Just checking in.

She's going to be pretty bossy for a while, CJ - even if you don't listen to it, you better get used to it.

And good luck on the interview - I'm sure you'll impress them.

She doesn't get to be bossy. There's only room in this family for one unbelievably stubborn and demanding woman, and I've got her beat by forty five years.

I'm unbelievably overqualified for the job. It's a problem that keeps repeating-- Anything with a schedule flexible enough for me, I'm overqualified for. Anything that's challenging enough for me has too many time demands for me to honestly be able to commit to. I'm seriously considering calling MSNBC back about the show they tried to pitch me last year.

Yes, but if she's anything like her mother... All I'm going to say is I can't wait to see this battle of wills play out. It's going to be quite the show.

As for the other - how did the interview go? Are you now gainfully employed?

I refuse to lose to my own child.

It went well. I'm incredibly overqualified, and rather than take a job that will likely bore me to tears, I'm choosing instead to remain bored to tears by daytime television.
