I've begun reading the food section of the Times and the Post lately, as if I can learn to make food edible simply by looking at text and pretty photographs.

Today, they chose to focus on mac and cheese. Now, I'm quite the fan of mac and cheese, but I'm seriously considering a letter to them ( Read more... )

Lunch isn't a go, but tell me what night and you can have dinner.

I'll even get fake wine so we can eat properly like the Times tells us to.

No offense to the Post, but I always knew the Grey Lady was a superior newspaper. Don't tell the corps.

Dinner anytime this week works for me-- I'd welcome the company as much as the mac and cheese.

No fake wine. If I can't have the real stuff, I don't want any at all. Fake wine tastes awful anyway.

I got enough of that in undergrad to turn me off of mac and cheese for years. That and ramen.

Yeah, but I still love the gooey crap. Got good memories of it. It was one of the few things Dad wouldn't screw up when he tried to cook.
