I envy my husband's ability to sleep as soundly as he does. It's one of those truly remarkable things I feel somehow honored to be allowed to witness. I can only hope that our daughter takes after him, at least when it comes to this. Is it too much to ask to have an infant who sleeps through the night? (If her behavior during the last month is ( Read more... )

Jo sleeps through the night, but he's also almost eleven weeks old.

I'm glad to see you're so happy CJ. You deserve to be.

I can live with having to wait until she's eleven weeks old to sleep through the night. If I'm only up every two hours as I've been warned I will be for three months, I'll survive. I've been letting a woman in my yoga class tell me horror stories about her oldest child. He turns three next month and has only been sleeping through the night for six months.

It feels good to be happy.

CJ, you are sounding far happier than I've heard you in a long time. It was a long time coming, but I'm glad it's arrived.

Now you just have to work on that sleeping thing. Sleep is important, really. Or, so people keep telling me.

Anyway..Congrats, CJ, on the happy.

I'm feeling far happier than I have in a long time. Everything's starting to fall into place.

It is, and if I could do anything about it I would. The best advice out there seems to be nap when I can (which I do), avoid sugar at night (which I intend to do from now on), and try to get comfortable (I've yet to figure this one out. I have a feeling it's only going to get worse over the next few months. I'm getting bigger by the hour.)

Thanks, Danny.
