So, anyway, I have decided, in my quest for happiness, to start making more purposeful posts in my journal. So, I'm gonna cut out the memes and one-liners, and go with real journally stuff. So, inspired by others and the fact that I remember my whole dream from last night. I give you
(Note: This was originally told to
gamoid over AIM, so I'll be inserting his comments where they affected my telling of the story, and since I'm too lazy to retype.)
In the dream, the spies and I were watching the vampires, and then the vampires saw me, and I went with them for a while
Gamoid: were they good vampires?
I liked them better than the spies, but I think the spies were really the good guys. Then the spies came back and grabbed me into this old shack thing. Then the spy master guy was yelling at me and he was saying "What did you do? Did you tell them about us? What the hell do you think you're doing?" And then I reminded him that I wasn't really a spy, so he couldn't yell at me, but he did it anyway. Then one of the other spies (They were all wearing SWAT helmets for some reason, so I don't know who they were, but their voices sounded really familiar... anyway, this other spy sounded like Cory.) Anyway, he said "Uh, ____ (The head guys name, which I didn't catch), they can probably hear you." Then the vampires took down the walls of the shack. One of them looked like The Jim, although I'm fairly certain he was not The Jim, just as the one that sounded like Cory was, indeed, not Cory. And then there was a lot of plot exposition.
Gamoid: like metal gear!
Yes, actually... Just like that, especially in the way that I was not paying attention. The vampires wanted me to come with them again, but for some reason I wanted to stay with the spies, even though they yelled at me, and the vampires were nice. I was getting a "strangers with candy" feeling.
Gamoid: not a bad instinct
I don't think they were going to bite me though. But then the head spy said, "Fine, take her, she's more trouble than she's worth." And then the one who sounds like Cory but isn't Cory said, "Are you stupid? She's the most loyal person you know, and you'll get rid of her like that? You need her!"
Gamoid: aww, he was your special spy-friend
Yeah, kinda. Then I started remembering the plot even though I was totally not paying attention. I realized that I really was a spy and was pretty much the best spy ever. Because I looked so young and innocent, noone ever thought I'd be a spy. I was the partner of the head spy; like the Avengers (not those Avengers)
Gamoid: the emma peel ones?
Yes. We had a car like theirs, even, and that was why he was mad at me. We were escaping from other spies in the car and going on one of those windy mountain roads. Yanno, with the sheer cliff down to one side, and up to the other? So we were tearing along that, and I shot out the other spies' tire, and they went off the road. So then I get back in the window (I was hanging out of it) and sat back in the seat (I was totally Mrs. Peel at this point, I rocked,) and said something like "Am I good or am I good?" Then he said, "I need to get a new partner," and I was about to retort when I saw we were driving right into a tree, on my side. And we hit it. And then he left me for dead and went back to spy headquarters. But I wasn't angry at him for it for some unknown reason. So I got back up and went back to the headquarters, only first I went to his house to sleep (I don't think I had a house,) and when I got there, I went to bed. But then he came home, and said, "Well, you fucked that mission up royally." Then I got really angry at him, even though I didn't blame him before, and accused him of trying to murder me. But he didn't listen, and just ignored me screaming at him and told me to go infiltrate the vampires. So then I went to the vampires, and they started telling me of their plans to get rid of the spies, so they could go about their vampire business with noone watching them. And then one of them was trying to explain to me the difference between spies and vampires, but I started to wake up.
I have a feeling that the difference between spies and vampires is a very important revelation about the meaning of life.
