IC Information:
Name: Last Order
Fandom: To Aru Majutsu no Index
Timeline: post-Tree Diagram Remnant, episode 17 in the second season and volume 12(ish) in the novels.
Age: ~10

Appearance:
As a clone, Last Order resembles the Railgun esper, Misaka Mikoto, only younger. She has short light brown hair and brown eyes. Besides being significantly shorter, she is easily distinguishable from the other clones by her large ahoge, or cowlick, and her wide range of facial expressions (the other clones are fairly expressionless). Her cheeks sometimes sport pink blush stickers. She tends to wear a sky blue polka-dot dress and a white dress shirt with brown sandals. She looks just the way she acts--childish, playful, and a bit of a troublemaker.

Abilities:
Last Order can use the same abilities as the other clones (the sisters), which revolve around electricity. She is at level 3 (out of 5) with her power, just enough for her to be able to pick an electrical lock among other tasks. Since she wasn't really designed to fight, she doesn't have the special goggles that all the other clones have in order to compensate for their lower rank compared to their original.

She can also use Radio Noise, which is basically a telepathic link that connects her to the other sisters on what they call the "Misaka Network". She is the administrator of the network, and can access memories of the other sisters whenever she likes. Consequently, she can also dictate what information they have access to and who specifically can see it. After Accelerator gets shot in the head and sustains critical brain damage, he is connected to the Misaka Network and Last Order and the sisters do his calculations for him. She's been shown to comically take advantage of this ability by disconnecting his access to the network, leaving him unable to speak.

Personality:
Last Order is a childish young girl bursting with energy. She is bold and curious, approaching people easily and saying what is on her mind. Most characters find that she can effortlessly tire out even the most formidable of people within a few moments of getting to know her. Incredibly, she even annoys one of the sisters with her dramatic expressions and unrelenting playfulness.

She tends to be very optimistic, claiming things as if she were absolutely certain things would pull through no matter what--for example, in the novels she proudly states that even if he were bloodied and worn out, Accelerator would still put up a fight for her. She does have a little bit of reasoning to support her claims, though. As long as someone has shown some proof that they're truly reliable, she'll vouch for them with an abundant amount of trust. It's not that she thinks there is good in everyone; just that she knows which people are the ones worth being with based on their actual nature.

Of course, Last Order is not just a ball of sunshine. When she gets frustrated, angry, sad, confused, etc. she lets everyone know. She whines, she resists orders, she nags, she pleads, she tricks--all the sorts of things an immature child would do. It's her sheer honesty that probably convinces her annoyed companions to stick around. She has that pure and needy kind of personality that people who want to be desired find admirable, and she tries not to be a burden (or at least not too much of one).

History:
In an effort to make Accelerator, the greatest level 5 esper, shift into a level 6, the researchers calculated that an exact amount of 20,000 copies of the Railgun user would have to be produced and sent to the battlefield to die by Accelerator's hands. Last Order is the final clone made for this project, serial number 20,001, but is different in that she's the command center rather than a fighter. She's the fail safe mechanism in case the sisters decided to rebel, receiving brainwaves from the researchers which allowed them to control the Misaka Network. Because she was never intended to really leave the incubator, she still has a child's body, having had no need for the hormones or chemicals used in the others.

When the Level 6 Shift project got canceled, the director of the researchers, suffering from serious debt, decided to implant a virus into her. He designed it to command the other clones to start attacking people. Her impulse was to escape the incubator and, with only a rag around her body, she wandered the streets of Academy City.

Last Order eventually met Accelerator and followed him persistently until he noticed her. She knew him based off of the memories the other sisters had, so she requested his assistance in finding the researchers in order for her to be incubated again, her body apparently not able to sustain itself outside for long. He didn't take any interest in it, but allowed her to tail him all the way to his apartment, which had recently been wrecked and trashed with graffiti. She spent the night there, and in the morning he took her to a restaurant after she demanded food.

At the restaurant, Last Order found out a little bit about Accelerator's character and ended up lecturing him about his true nature. She shared her and the remaining sisters' new determination to stay alive no matter what, both confusing and irritating Accelerator. Last Order then praised the food and, as Accelerator got up to leave, collapsed onto the table. She figured it was because of her being out of the incubator for so long, and expressed regret that she couldn't say "thanks for the meal" before Accelerator left. It turned out the virus was also taking its toll on her frail state.

As soon as Accelerator left the scene, the director abducted Last Order and attempted to keep her body alive long enough for the virus to take effect. However, his plans were foiled when Accelerator took the initiative upon himself to erase the virus and tracked him down. With the help of Accelerator's vector ability, Last Order was saved though her memory was wiped of her adventure outside the incubator. (She later retrieved these memories back thanks to the Misaka Network, much to Accelerator's irritation.) The director, distraught, took advantage of Accelerator's moment of vulnerability and fired a gunshot straight into his brain, leaving him in critical condition.

The speedy response from Accelerator, who managed to keep the bullet from doing as much damage as it could, and the doctor known as Heaven Canceler saved Accelerator at the cost of his ability to compute and speak languages. This is where Last Order's ability came in. As long as Accelerator wore his collar and cord, he could be connected to the Misaka Network and the rest of the sisters could perform his basic calculations and speaking for him.

Last Order was taken back to the incubator to recover and Accelerator to the hospital. She then talked with the sisters about how someone had stolen a Remnant of Tree Diagram, a super-computer which had aided in the creation of the clones. Worried it could be used to create more, she requested that Accelerator destroy it, and he left in order to go through with it. He later returned and Last Order resumed hassling him. They were then entrusted into the the care of Yomikawa Aiho, a teacher and member of Academy City's police and security forces.

Roleplay Sample - Log:
The crackle of small sparks prickling in the air could be heard a few meters away the front of an apartment building. A beep sounded from the front doors, indicating an incorrect passcode, and Last Order fumed.

"'Why aren't the doors opening?!' cries Misaka as Misaka complains to the irritating lock, puffing her cheeks and contemplating pounding her fists against the doors to alert someone from the inside!!"

The young clone was pacing in front of the apartment complex that she had foolishly locked herself out of. It was an apartment for the Anti-Skill, the police and security forces of Academy City, so there was no wonder it resisted her attempts at lock-picking fairly easily. Unfortunately for her, she had slipped out without telling any of her guardians, so they were still blissfully unaware of her absence.

She realized this mistake the hard way.

"'Open up! Let Misaka inside!' demands Misaka as Misaka futilely attempts to reason with an inanimate object, quickly losing her hope to be let in somehow!"

With an angry stomp of her foot, Last Order tried once again to use electricity in the hopes of picking the lock. The effort, however, resulted in yet another negative beep. Access denied. She groaned and balled her small hands into fists, whining about the unfairness of the security.

Roleplay Sample - Journal:
'Misaki doesn't like this,' says Misaka as Misaka attempts to use the audio option of the device she found. 'Is there anybody listening?' wonders Misaka as Misaka hopes she isn't just talking to herself.

[ If you're thinking it sounds like she's narrating for herself, you're right. Last Order holds the communicator with both hands. ]

'Everything seems to be in perfect shape,' reports Misaka as Misaka does a brief self-examination. 'But Misaka doesn't understand why Misaka is alone, since earlier he was here too. What happened since then?' asks Misaka as Misaka addresses an unknown audience and requests supplementary information in order to understand her position.

[ The audio ends. ]

Questions? Comments? Crazed and creative statements? Those go here.
It's Accelerator's loli! \o/ Also, would it be possible for Last Order to reestablish the Network with Accelerator? Basically, it would allow her to do lulzy things like disconnect him from it and render him speechless--literally.
