Starlights Stage on!!!!!
Well I can't believe I found this on youtube (but then again I can). This is my favorite scene from Seramyu. It's the Three Lights during the 1998 winter preformance. I hapen to have a copy of this subtitled but even in raw content you can get the drift of the comedy. Even Teresa gets a good laugh off this scene
Okay so I decided to write out the translation for the Starlights Scene and have this post public for my friends on Myspace. I am too lazy to write out the names of each character so first I am going to list who is what letter.
Characters:
H- Haruka: short sandy colored hair and wearing boys uniform
M- Michiru: green hair and females uniform
Y- Yaten: boys uniform w/ triangle; white hair in ponytail with dog ears on
T- Taiki: boys uniform w/ triangle; brown hair in ponytail
S- Seiya: Boys uniform w/ triangle; blueish colored hair in ponytail
Scene:
H: Footprints.
M: When I look at the size….probably a bear.
H: Look here as well. I think we’ve cleared here.
T: *off scene walking on* Would a bear be in a school?
H: A dog?
T: This is my dog named “Bear.”
M: What’s it doing?
T: Looking for the criminal.
H: I doubt that…..Looks like this is a scene of chaos.
M: Let’s not participate……Let’s go.
T: *To Seiya* Uh, Leader.
S: Did you find something.
T: Yes! The landing site of a UFO and a dinosaur fossil.
Y: Nothing but Stan Kamily’s $1,000,000 treasure.
S: I see…..sure are a lot of those here.
T/Y: Huh?
S: Alright! The criminal must have left some evidence. Look for evidence!
Y: Let’s just quit this already.
T: This has no real relation to us.
S: No. Something about this worries me. Let’s search!
T/Y: Hai!
*singing* What are you looking for?
Something in a teapot?*
Something in a hose?
You search but you can not find it!
S: SHUT UP!!!!!! Quiet, search in silence.
T/Y: yeah!
Y: Leader *whispers in audibly*
S: Say it so I can here.
Y: Leader! I was thinking. If it was someone in a priestess outfit; the culprit may be a master of disguise.
T/S: I see!
Y: So I say….right here….the culprit could be among us in disguise!
S: Among us….
T: ….is the criminal?
T/S: It’s you!!! *points at Yaten*
Y: Why would it be me?
T: Don’t you think you’re suspicious with those ears?
Y: What’s suspicious is the mask.
T: What mask? *Yaten pulls on Taiki’s face* ow, ow, ow *random babbling*
S: I see but which of these two is the criminal?
T: Leader, your cheek seems a bit inflated.
S: I was born that way!
T/Y: That’s suspicious!
S: Fine. I guess I can’t help but be suspected. There is one method that can settle this.
Y: That method. Can it be?
T: The customary Kinmoko planet method to find a disguised criminal within a group of three….This method?
S: Correct.
Y: Stop. I suck at that.
S: Quiet!...Let’s go. Alright. The screw up is the culprit…Okay first name the planets. MARS!
T: MERCURY
Y: JUPITER
S: VENUS
T: SATURN
Y: URANUS
S: NEPTUNE
T: PLUTO
Y: (What is said “OTTO SEI”) Fur Seal.
S/T: Fur seal?
S: There is no planet named that.
Y: There is. I’ve been there.
T: What is Fur Seal?
Y: It’s a tourist planet. It has a ball on it’s nose and goes *makes seal noises as claps hands.*
T: VERY suspicious!
S/T: You must be the culprit.
Y: You’re wrong! Let’s do it over! Name of warm Ben tou (ben tou- box lunches…I’m going to write the translations) TEA AND CAKE
S: DRIED SEAWEED
T: DUMPLING SET
Y: PORK SET
S: EEL SET
