4/4 youngho sighs as he reaches for the pack of pall mall blue in his pocket, just to find it empty. whoever said the landscape remains even if the human is gone, is an idiot
he stares at the trees surrounding the two year built garden and through them to the other side of the lake. nice trees can never replace the grass that grows on its will and thin stems standing straight to the sky, so after a while he gives up on analyzing the place and trying to recall the past, to leisurely walk back to the parking lot, back to his work of managing previously luhan's boys because a day has already started and he has to be on his track before ten o'clock
life changes
nothing seems strange until he notices there's another similar car parked one slot away from his zeppelin
his heart nearly jumps out, and youngho doesn't believe it didn't. he tries his best not to run with all of himself when he spots a maybach logo on the trunk. the windows are also tinted like his and it takes the bravest effort for him to knock on the glass
just like the day they first met
eyes appear through the small gap, cold, cautious and secured. sehun's eyes when he were twenty three, intending to take a nap and got disturbed by youngho. the boy, now a man, can feel his voice trembling, difficultly getting his wording right for a question
"do you happen to have cigarettes?"
the owner of those eyes hesitates, then looks around for something. it takes a few seconds for youngho to be offered a pack of unfinished pall mall blue with his shiny metal lighter through the small gap, but the sudden burst of happiness and guilt hasn't made it to sink completely into youngho because the window is rolled up, engine is started then the car is driven off without the driver either taking back his things, or looking back even just once
it’s a maybach 62
and at last i see the light
and it's like
the sky is new
