applying to UCL grad programs

Forgive me if this is posted somewhere on the UCL website and I failed to see it..

Are there any guidelines to writing the statement of purpose/letter of intent for the graduate application to UCL? Specifically, is there a length minimum and/or maximum?

Additionally, do you have any stories or advice about applying to graduate programs at UCL?

I would appreciate that advice as well...I'm looking to apply to their Geophysical Hazards program :)
