It looks like my schedule for the Autumn quarter is set. I will be taking: Animal Cell Physiology, Organic Chem III (Lecture and Lab) and History of Medicine. The History of Medicine class fulfills NONE of my major requirements and is merely a filler class because I could not find anything else to take the place of Advanced Cell and Molecular Bio ( Read more... )

History of medicine sounds fun to me! Not that you'll have time for it, but a great book along that line is "the two headed boy" by jan bondeson. I especially like the section on "stone children" (lithopedions).

I know it sucks having to ask for notes, but it's not like you make a habit out of it. Swallow your pride and just do it if you need to to get past it. Just focus on getting back on track--that's what you do best.
