Welcome back! I find that FB is good for fluff mostly, though it depends on your friends. Mine are mainly supportive or just ignore what I say when I'm upset. That's why I keep three; FB (which mainly feeds selected posts from my Twitter or application spam), Twitter (more stream of consciousness blogging and communicating with groups of friends at once) and LJ where I can be honest.

It'll be good to see more of you here. I don't have time to scroll through all the stuff on FB, so I miss most of what is posted there.

I remember making those cheat sheets for calc, ODEs, and O chem. By the time I was done preparing it, I didn't need it!

I find LJ a much less guarded forum for me. Facebook has way too many lurkers from high school who I don't care to share my deepest feelings with.

yeah i definitely find that facebook is more for "fluff" posts... even with tight group/content visibility control. i always save the meatier content for LJ, despite my low post frequency.
