Last day of Max Interval Circuit! The funny thing is that I might actually miss this workout. As the weeks went by and as I got into better shape, this daunting workout finally became something that I enjoyed today.
Well, enjoyed might be too strong of a word. I think it was more like I finally felt a sense of accomplishment when I finished today's workout. I felt good that I was able to finish most of the routines. Considering I felt that this was the toughest workout of the entire program, being able to finish the workouts on the last day of that workout really made me feel good about myself. I finally felt that the previous 60 days might actually have been worth it.
I was able to manage my knee issues well today. I focused on landing softly on my jumps and not pulling up short. It took until the last week of the second month of the program to finally remember how to pace myself and yet still challenge myself. I really felt like I was able to push myself further with this particular workout than I had in all of the previous attempts.
The end of the Insanity workout program is just ahead of me. I feel really good, bad knees and all. This has been a fun ride.
Tomorrow is Core Cardio and Balance. I like this workout. Tomorrow will be a nice recovery day.
