Patrick - 1 Anonymous - 0 Nice response to the randomly rude comment by a person not secure enough with themselves to leave their name. Sure you're a different person than when I first met you, but that doesn't mean that it's a change for the bad. It's just growing up. If this person can't respect who you are now, then they're lame. You'll always have your family, your SD friends, and of course your friends at UCLA to back you up!
I have to say that balls were sufficiently ruined. Excellent work. Besides, who cares how much different you from in high school. I hope you've changed. I expect to also. You'll always be my big brother. (I think it was someone snooping from church)
Good luck next year at Sonoma lil bro. I hope you enjoy it. As long as you get out there with the right attitude to take what you want to make the most out of your life and the college experience, you'll be more than fine. If you ever need anything, that's what big bros are for ;-).
thats just silly my dear. we humans are meant for change. it's all a natural part of growing and self discovery...and if this person were worried that you were making wrong choices or something.. well then their heart is in the right place, but people make a lot of wrong turns before finding themselves in the place they want to be. it's normal.. and dare i say healthy. this is just plain silly.
How different was I in high school? A HELL OF A LOT DIFFERENT.
And how much better do I feel now? A HELL OF A LOT BETTER.
I've turned out to be more different than my parents could ever have imagined, and they don't like it at all, but that is no reason for me not to follow my dreams/interests/loves. And the same applies to you. Nobody can tell you who you are. I get the feeling you have a pretty good idea who you are. And it's wonderful.
