Why Columbine never surprised me

It's a shame, and an indicator of how strongly I get embarassed when I screw up, that I live next-door to the same people I did 16 years ago and I haven't said 5 words to them since 7th grade (12 years ago) until just recently when I set up their network, and I still haven't talked to their daughter Kara who was my best friend when I first moved in ( Read more... )

... all of this because you smacked a girl that hit you for no good reason back in 7th grade? You stopped talking to everyone in your entire neighborhood? I guess for me I had an easier excuse. I didn't have a neighborhood. I had 4 houses on my street. one was ours, 2 were occupied by elderly folk (while good to sell Christmas wreaths to, not much fun to hang out with as a kid)and the other seemed to have new tenants every couple of years. hmmmmm... i wonder if that had anything to do with my stunted socialization skills. a little light bulb just went off in my head.

and so since you are going back to UCF... any chance you are gonna be relocating to the east side anytime near oh.. early Spring 07?
