And Note 6 - I am insanelysomewhat proud of myself for not giving in to the desire to make reference to "the very model of a modern major general" in this...
Aw, and I always liked Gilbert and Sullivan, too ... ::grins::
Thanks! I love both West Wing and Stargate, but both shows tend to ignore romance (or at least keep it on the back burner most of the time). Which makes gen stories just ... fit better, if you know what I mean. Or, at least, if you're going to write a story in either universe, it usually works best if the romance is a subplot rather than the focus of the story.
That, and I'm OTP in both shows--Jack/Sam and Josh/Donna. As each show has only two unmarried female main characters (Sam and Janet, Donna and CJ) that really limits the crossover pairings you can come up with unless you're going for slash.
And truth be known, the most interesting stuff for me by the last season was the Santos campaign, so I'm glad you chose to have him as Pres. Not that I dislike Bartlett, or anything.
I keep thinking of things I would have liked to have included and wishing that I'd worked on it earlier than my procrastinating nature allowed...especially after reading some of the high quality fics that were done. *looks at annerbhp*
