So yesterday I was thinking "I wonder what Kate's up to? has she gone to China? Why didn't I do that?"
I'm very ridiculously excited for you and Aaron, and look forward to hearing of your adventures. I fell of an excercise ball and broke my middle finger, so now I have it splinted and get to flip everyone off constantly, which came in v ery handy today when I drove through La Joya! Stay in touch!

Thanks for your excitement!! Keep us posted on your new teaching job. My mom was disappointed to hear about your tomato problems. I told her about them while she was spraying an emulsion of seaweed and fish guts onto her garden; it smelled like Boston Harbor at low tide. She said it's not your fault, that the soil just has these things sometimes. And then I think she gazed fondly at her compost pile... If you ever have gardening questions, I'm sure she'd be happy to answer them! (And she enjoys reading your journal, which is linked through mine.)
