Faith had continued to follow Spike down the sidewalk, keeping Dawn close, when the vampire had mentioned they were really close to Angel's place. Faith slowed her walk down a little, sensing something nearby. She took a moment to look around before putting her hand behind Dawn's back. Something wasn't right here...

It was possible that they had already alerted Angel as to her escape. But that's okay; she wanted to see Angel anyway. Why not let him come her way?

But when the figure escaped from the shadows to reveal themselves, Faith frowned it wasn't the vampire. She glared, pushing Dawn behind her. "Dawn, hide," she murmured, before stepping towards the other Slayer, fists clenched.

"His sked filled up 'cause of all the fuckin' you and him are doin', B? Can't get in the way of that, now can we? Nope. Nothin' else on earth matters except to make sure you two are joined at the crotch." She shrugged. "I was just stoppin' by, thought I'd give him a holla. We're old friends, ya' know."

As soon as it was pointed to Angel that Faith was around the building, he could hear her. The only reason that he didn't notice her before was because his attention had been distracted and pulled elsewhere (Buffy). He couldn't help that. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, Buffy kind of still was the center of his thoughts at all times. Right now wasn't the time to be distracted, though.

Especially since he could sense just exactly *who* was with her.

While the others may or may not know it, Angel could always sense when Spike was around. It might be the fact that Spike irritated the daylights out of him nine times out of ten, or it might be a bond by blood, but Angel always knew when he was in the same vicinity. This just got a lot messier.

As he was heading through the backdoor with Giles, he looked to the other man and said, "Spike's with Faith," softly just so that the other man could hear. Angel had no idea why Spike would be with Faith, and the kid sister that she apparently had, but the reasons could not be good.

Buffy set her jaw at Faith's words. She knew just exactly what to say to get under her skin. And always attempted to use it to her advantage. "Faith, I think your jealousy is showing," she said sweetly, "And you're still going for the boyfriend? That's so tired. Find a new theme
