I've never felt so alone while surrounded by so many people. I've felt for a while that I have a great many shallow relationships, but none that are very deep. Aside from my brothers, I can't think of anyone that would be likely to ask me to be in their weddings. Today was my students' graduation. All the other teachers got lots of cards and gifts
