Well, my darling Londoneer, the Chinese kicked off the Chinese New Year last February 17/18. See, according to the Chinese calendar, the New Year doesn't start til February. I don't know why that is but it's been like that since forever. It's older than the Great Wall of China, methinks.

TIKOY is this sticky rice cake the Chinese give out during Chinese New Year. You fry it with beaten egg.
