Not good...

Back on my birthday, we decided it was time to upgrade the memory on my pc.  Two brand new match 1 gig card later, problems started to happen.  My system would not stay stable...  Okay, try it with only 1 gig memory...  Stays up for 15 minutes, then crashes...  Time to run some deep diagnostics.  Nothing seemed wrong, until i read the mainboard ( Read more... )

I was glad when I found a 939 mobo otherwise I would have been in the same boat when I toasted my old boards bios. The good thing is that it's close to X-mass so you might be able to find a good deal on the parts or a mobo,cpu,memory combo.
As for the clicking of the image , I have to admit that once and awhile I catch my self doing that to some of the GW screen shots .....click on the button to minimize.

btw check the bios of the board, because there may be some Over clock voltage setting active or you might be able to lower it there

A good idea, as Asus boards are full of overclocking settings, but alas, everything was set to normal... Unfortunately, as I've discovered searching for a replacement, it's a board that had a reputation for being buggy (Asus A7V8X-X), so no one has any anymore, so back to pricing for an upgrade. It's still running, so as long as it doesn't get worse, it's going to have to wait until after Christmas.
