We're hoping the lump can be removed whole, but if the vet can't get it all, he's going to amputate her tail. We should be able to pick her up tomorrow night, if everything goes well. Oko's not a young ferret anymore, she's 6 years old.

We're worried, but she should be okay. She's strong and healthy, and the vet had her on antibiotics for a couple of weeks, which helped boost her. We were hoping the lump on her tail was just an infection, but it doubled in size over the last week while she was on antibiotics, so off it must go.
