Chapter 14- Ice Cream & Tears
Takaki had luckily passed his bike test, and for some odd reason payed insurance for Kei's motorbike. It had already passed 11pm and was nearing midnight when Takaki had come onto the main road towards the late night amusement park. But even that didn't go on all night. Since it was a Sunday it closed at 12am.
Takaki sped up as he apprached the gates to the carpark. He skidded suddenly and stopped the vehicle just as a security guard ran up to him.
"Oi you, the park is going...to close really soon. No more ...entrances until tomorrow." The guard spoke between breathes.
"Eh? I'm only looking for a friend. He might be here and I needa look for him!!"Takaki started speaking fast and as the guard was about to speak was cut off. "Thanks bye bye!!"
Takaki shouted and ran into the park. Now where would be be. All the lights were blinking in his eyes as Takaki looked all around him. Thinking off possible places Kei could be.
"Yama-chan and Kei hat 2 places the most at the Haunted House and Roller Coasters. The last time Kei and he were here they mentioned them both getting sickness........at the roller coaster!!!." Since Takaki thought that was the place with the most memories at this place between them and where they both had so much in common Takaki started running.
Even though he wasn't fast and he ran a bit girlish Takaki put both his mind and body to the limit running around looking around all of the Roller Coasters.
Takaki temperarily took a spot on the bench outside one of the ride's entrances. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes for a second. A voice spoke over the loud noises of the crowd and noises mades from the sound of rides, screams and laughter. Such happy sounds.
"Eh Yuuyan."
Takaki picked his head up "EEEHHH?? Kei i found you!!! Do you kn........" Takaki stopped and looked at Kei. He stood in the same clothes he had been wearing this morning and was holding two ice crems one vanilla one strwberry. "Err Kei why do ya have 2 ice creams. You came alone right??"
"Oh this I accidently ordered 2 since i'm used to treating Yama-chan." Inoo walked up to Takaki, sat beside him and offered him the strawberry ice cream.
"Ahh.. arigatou Kei-chan." Takaki smiled slightly as he took the offered ice cream.
"Yabu told me what happened this morning. I can't believe Yama-chan said such a thing, he's acting unusual."
Kei looked down to the floor. " Thats why i came here, to get it out of my mind. I came to a conclusion that if I come here and keep remembering the good and positive Yama-chan that I won't be affected by what Yama-chan says, no matter how negative, mean and un-yamada ryosuke like yama-chan acts."
"Demo Kei-chan, it's still not right and I was wondering about something. I have an idea of wht he's up to but we'll have to get more information about things from the only person who has known Yama-chan inside out since they met."
"You mean Yuto??"
"Yeah, those two have always been together. Even when they fought over stupid things they now each other better than they know themselves."Takaki leant forward continuously licking the ice cream.
"Good point, Yuto called me earlier to tell me yama-chan as being moved, although he sounded very upset and hiis voice was lower than usual."
"Then how about we head to your University dorm for the night since its closer than your home, then go to Yuto's house tomorrow." Takaki extended his hand to Inoo as he stood up. Inoo tookt he hand and Takaki helped him get up.
"By the way Takaki how did you get here??"
"Your mom lent me your motorbike. Don't worry I didn't scratch your paintwork."
"If there is you are soo not gonna make it to midnight in 15 minutes."Inoo laughed together with Takaki after all these to were just like Yuto and Ryosuke.

+++At he hospital, around the same time+++
"Ne Yamada, why don't you want your friends around you??"asked the nurse who had been changing the dressing on the knife wound.
Ryosuke winced in pain, which was obviously a deep pain even though he tried to hide it.
"I just don't want them meddling with my business, thats why"Ryosuke bluntly spoke between his teeth. The pain he continuously felt was overwhelming.
"You mean that after this mess, you blame yourself for causing trouble, and you don't want to cause them trouble. Am I right, Yamada-kun??" No reply came from Ryosuke
The nurse was quite a young one no older than 22 or 23. "Honestly I think you should apologize to them, I am sure that that tall, skinny friend of yours has probably figured you out, and what you are doing. But i'll say to you, they don't think your trouble. The only way your gonna cause them trouble is if you act like this."
"What do you know?? It's my own fault i am like this now. It's my fault i've made an uproar. It's my fault!! If they get hurt EVER I KNOW it will be my fault!! EVERYTHING IS MY FAULT!!!"Ryosuke raised his voice so loud it could probably be heard down the corridor. Once again Ryosuke gritted his teeth and shut his eyes closed with so much pressure, to stop the tears. but it was hopeless.
So much fell, so much tears. He started to sob and his hands clenching into fists and released them slightly again. It was uncontrollable for Ryosuke, his breathing was becoming out of order again. The nurse lifted his head up and placed the oxygen mask back over Ryosuke's nose and mouth.
The nurse released anesthetics through Ryosuke's system as she could tell that not only the pain would keep him from sleeping but also his current state. She finally finished the changing of the dressing and placed his bed covers over his shivering body.
"It is NOT and NEVER will be your fault Yamada-kun" The nurse gently told Ryosuke so he could hear here while she gently stroked his hair and comforted him. After all he was still a kid no matter what age under 20 he was, he was still a kid!
He started to calm down but the tears fell s he drifted into a sleep where he though deeply about his actions towards the members, and what was the only way to say sorry.
