[There's a squelching sound of someone falling into a very muddy area. Then that someone curses under his breath, followed by the distinct sound of some very angry toads who he's disturbed. Many of whom also curse along with the general annoyed croaking.]

Hello? Who's there? Who said that? Scully, are you with me? Can you hear me? SCULLY!?!

scully would not believe this, not ruling out aliens, not in kansas anymore toto, confusion abounds, even the toads have conspiracies, paranoia is my middle name, they call him spooky for a reason, truth nao plz!, unleash the crazy theories!, missing scully, not the best vacation package, blaming the aliens, maybe it's an x-file, glorious arrival, conspiracy afoot

[Yep, definitely a New Feather phase, because here comes some guy squelching through the mud.

Derek, who was checking one of the rabbit traps he'd set in the area (Simple rope noose tied to a sapling version), settles the rope back down into the snow covered leaves and finds a tree to climb, quickly.

You know, before the guy gets too close. And starts smelling like food.

But if you look up at the sound of a snapping branch, Mulder, you'll see him, dressed in his usual hunter clothing plus gloves and hat and sunglasses.]

[Mulder takes a few furtive glances behind him, hoping he's not managing to annoy any more talking animals. He stops in his tracks quickly upon hearing a noise. And he knows all too well that feeling of being watched. Going on instincts, there's a vague sense of danger, but maybe he's just getting himself worked up and paranoid. As usual.]

[Instinctively, he reaches for where his gun should be.]

[Derek doesn't bother to get out of sight this time, although he notices the gesture, which in turn makes him shift nervously. The telltale signs of a rising heart rate don't help, and he licks his lips before he can catch himself. He'll look down for several seconds before answering.]

...But what was that other organization you mentioned? UNIT? What does that do?
