I have never fully trusted this government. The more I learned about it, the less faith I had not only in its ability but also in the truth of its history. The problem with the hydra is that she doesn't have just one head, she has many, and when you cut one off, many more spring up in its stead. That has been a conundrum forever. In the greek legend Heracles, to prevent the Hydra from sprouting new heads, sears the neck stumps with blazing branches to check the flow of blood. This is a mere technical and unsatisfying method, meaning it's not a creative-thinking method. Anyway, what I really want to say is, that like the Hydra, there are not a few but many such "heads", not just one organiziation but many, changing with time. The "body" of this Hydra is the way of thinking, the most wide spread and accepted and toutet as "natural" being the right to private ownership with hardly a check on what one can do with one's private possession. To change this way of thinking, that's our real and immensly difficult work. We need to put an end to buying and selling, especially at profit.
