hint for #39 is to look at theorem 6 on page... 55 I believe.

So I'm starting this livejournal more or less as a holder for reference; I will start by posting problem sets for Linear Algebra and Modern Physics here... and if there is interest I'm hoping this will maybe eventually turn into a mini-forum thingy where we can discuss problems, etc.  ...we'll see how that works out.
