Elbow adventures

I woke up Saturday and in the early afternoon I noticed I had a lump on my left elbow. It was about the size of half a ping pong ball, and didn't hurt at all. I wrote it off as a random injury that I didn't remember getting, and headed out to the Little 5 Points Halloween parade

I had a case of cellulitis of the ass last year, it was wretched. My heart goes out to you, feel better my friend.

I was a little confused about how it happened as well, my best guess was a non-venomous spider bite. There was rapidly spreading infection, but no necrosis. I was very fortunate in the fact that I caught it early enough to be treated at the urgent care with lancing under topical anesthetic and a round of oral antibiotics.

I remember the pain and burning so specifically. I've never really had a significant aversion to pain, but I demanded painkillers immediately because it hurt something unreal. Best wishes for tomorrow.

Actually, they didn't lance anything. It didn't feel like there was a cyst to drain. Maybe tomorrow.

You probably got it at Alchemy from some soil contamination. Takes about a week or 2. Microbes live naturally in the dirt.

Do you remember anything about any scrapes or getting the area dirty, for some reason? Even microscopic cracks in the skin can let in these bastards.
