I'm too tired to fight that with some pathestic attempt at false hope. Good riddance is right... good riddance to that which we never got the pleasure of owning. Good riddance to false dreams.

But still, the kindle in my soul remains that, if we don't expect it and, in fact, beat it away with a stick... maybe that will just make it want us more. Be drawn to me, summer love and lemondade nights.. be drawn to me while I pretend to hate you.
