Hi, guys. :)

I have this habit of keeping old and unfinished PSDs. Since my PSD usually contains dozens of layers and weighs hundreds of megabytes, I ran out of space on my HD pretty regularly, and periodically try to clean up a little. :) This was supposed to be my spring cleaning, but RL kinda got in the way. I am not equally happy with these

Ladder is one of those brilliant pieces that makes me so envious of you. ♥ The lighting, the dull sky, the ladder, the birds are all perfection. Castiel's positioning is well done, but I'm not sure about his facial expression. Really what seems off is Dean. I might have had him facing the other way and had him connected to the ladder rather than being isolated in the dark. He might have felt alone, but IMO he was still connected to heaven and the world. Having him face away would show he didn't know he wasn't alone.

I've done feedback on the other lovely SN walls that I hope to post on BF soon. :) I'm so slow. :(

I see what you mean re: Dean's position. I just wanted him and Cas to be facing each other, as a promise of hope / connection between them that started when Cas saved Dean from Hell... I guess having Dean facing the other way would have been too angsty for me :)

I am not sure about Cas' facial expression though; what is it that feels off to you about it? I tried to show that he is feeling Dean's pain, and also feeling uneasy about Dean, the righteous man, being in Hell for so long... That seeing this torment makes him doubt that all is right in the universe. Some people who commented on this piece got my idea and some didn't, and I am not sure why.

I'll be waiting your post. :) It's sad people post so little in the general art threads novadays, all life is concentrated in the challenges section now... *sighs*
