We just found out that the Marriot is already sold out for next year's DragonCon. So I guess our plans to stay there are screwed. The rates are not even listed on the website yet. Wow ( Read more... )

Of course. You guys are the best roomies evar! We made reservations at the Hyatt which will be fine but we will definitely keep our ears out for space at the Marriott.

Do you like the Hilton better than the Hyatt? Or was the Hyatt full already too?

A lot of times rooms will open back up again, so you have to be vigilant about calling. Plans change, sometimes people get a better room or they decide not to come or room with someone else. I know last year we had a room reserved at the Hyatt but released it one month before the con because one of our roommates was unemployed.

So there is still a chance! Don't give up! We don't have one either, and we're going to keep trying.

Luckily, we have reservations in the Hyatt which is fine but the Marriot is so much much nicer than it used to be and the Hyatt has gone downhill every year.

Oh okay! Well how about this. We'd actually prefer to stay in the Hyatt (because of the concerts and the fact that most of the videography shifts I work are in there)! So if we can get a room at the Marriot, can we switch reservations?

That might just be a deal but it would have to be two rooms. We have two in the Hyatt from Thursday to Monday. Just keep me informed.
