All I have to say is why? I don't know what the whole deal with burning the flag is, but it shows to me that you are Anti-American..tarnishing the memories of fallen soldiers who have DIED for their country. Do you even realize how fortunate you are to live in such a country? The food you are able to consume, the roof over your head, the clothes that you wear to just protect you from the slightest of harm. If you hate America so much, try living in one of the less fortunate countries in the world where they DON"T EVEN HAVE HALF THE SHIT WE HAVE IN AMERICA. Go live in fuckin Canada.. damn pussies.

Anthony, you're not patriotic at all.

Look at the founders of amerika. We're they patriots of england? No. They realized how awful certaina spects of their nation were. They were firm believes in dissent as the key to freedom. By denying that, you're denying our nation.

If you love amerika as a whole and not as just some fucking piece of cloth, you'd do the same.

I am patriotic 100%. The flag that stands tall each and everyday of our lives-- lets Americans remember that that flag stands there to remind us of our freedom. Don't tell me Im not patriotic. I see patriotism as being a supporter of one country, to stand tall and defend her in anyway possible. To acknoledge the positive well-being in each and every person whom lives in the country, and to be generous enough; to appreciate ones own freedom.

Conflict will always be a key factor in the policies in which things operate. You can't just say 'hey stop the conflict.' People will have their opinions spread widely and freely. To live in a country where we are given the privledges to do so.

Burning the flag to me is wrong and UNpatriotic.

That is the most ill-thought-out protest against your view of the policies of America. What you did didn't just show you hate America, YOU basically spat on the bodies of fallen soldiers that died in war defending this country. That flag has been around since the birth of this country; it led us in victory against the Brits, it inspired so much hope in the eyes of the men that CREATED THIS COUNTRY THAT GAVE YOU THE FUCKING RIGHT TO BURN ITS FLAG. All the men and women that died in a war you don't support. You just desecrated their honour. You hate George Bush, go burn a poster of him. Leave the fucking flag alone.

So, you think it's awesome to have freedom to burn a flag but you think it's horrible and no one should do it? Hott. Hypocrisy at it's finest ( ... )

Riiight... So by saying I don't want my national symbol being burned, that's not patriotic? Then what the hell is? I know burning it isn't.

You follow an idea of blind patriotism. Blind patriotism is for fascism, not a "democratic" society. True patriotism is realizing what is positive while realizing similutaneously what is wrong with one's nation. That is the way to appreciate what one has while also fighting for more freedom.
If burning a flag is the way I need to get peoples attention to this struggle for freedom and liberty, then so be it.

"don't fly those stripes those stars and stripes for me, for me. they stand for greed they stand for hate for nothing I believe."

Borders, nations, and the industrial revolution are quite possibly the worst creations of all time.

Way to represent. I need to talk to you kids about some stuff in person when I get back.
