this is really nice dylan, modest and true. it takes so much time and thought to really be okay with where you are, who you are friends with, who your real friends are, if you are a real friend...the bads won't vanish with your surroundings. We are in fact lucky to grow up in a town like Frederick, a town where people can create and share it with others, a town we don't have to think twice about turning a dark corner at night. You have a lovely face, and a lovely heart, nice ideas and powerful thoughts. keep them rolling around in your head, its the only way we can make a change in a place like this.

What a great post. It reminded me that how I am treated by other people really is a reflection of how I treat others. It makes me want to be the best person I can be for the rest of today (or longer). I think it is true that what we give of ourselves, we receive back many times over. I'll bet you get plenty of positive posts in response to your entry. I agree that pre-judging people is not a good thing. We are all guilty of it to some degree. You do realize that pre-judging has the exact same definition as prejudice. Pre-judging is a euphemistic term. When I recognize pre-judging for what it truly is (the ugly prejudice word), it stops me in my tracks. But remember, prejudice is largely based on fear of the unknown. If we keep our minds open when we meet new people, we will find the good in them, just as they, hopefully, will find the good in us. We are all just people. All born the same way, and none of us is going to leave this universe alive. Even though everyone isn't born into the same circumstance, we are all equally ( ... )

i hope that one day i can stop being afraid of what i don't understand. I know everyone has got that good inside of them I just need to look for it. much thanks for the response, i hope i see you in another life when we are both cats.
