maybe the fact that Michael Moore can use things like what you described above that are so obviously inconsistent and still gain outrageous support from American society says that he is a lot smarter than we give him credit for. Of course that doesn't deny the fact that he is still a fool

"Bowling for Columbine" is one of those movies that anyone who see's it thinks they have a political view. He brings up interesting points in the movie, but you can't take everything he says because he doesnt address any other side but the side he's trying to exploit and make fit to his political view. If you want a movie that talks about gun control issues in an underlying fashion but is very powerful, see "Elephant" by Gus Van Sant. It's a remake of Columbine essentially and is incredibly powerful. It doesn't give answers, but raises questions. Michael Moore is an inflated, dramatized philerbusterer that should find something better to do with his film-making rather than making anti-government movies.
