Optional (it says in the thing above this box that the subject is optional, who am I to argue?)

Well then. This box says "event" as if I'm supposed to comment on some specific event that happened. I wish my life was only that interesting, when in essence, it's pretty boring. despite the fact that most dreams are never realized because the world is harsh and depressing as you say, where would we be if there were no dreaming at all? if we never aspired to be more than who/what we are, would we consequently never take the baby steps that move us in that direction? in our quest to achieve a certain goal/dream/vision that may or may not come to fruition, we will undoubtedly get somewhere new, even if not the intended destination. i love your ability to dream, because without that attribute you wouldn't be nearly as far along as you are today.

your insightful post touches upon one of two "classifications" of dreams; the conscious and the sub conscious. while one's conscious dreams (dubbed "Daydreams" and "child's play") may, in short, be passed off as nothing more than an optimistic "hope" or expression of a sub-conscious desire for an optimistic outcome to an often cruel reality, one's sub-conscious dreams (those commonly associated with sleep) are commonly theorized to be the brain's alternative rationalization/categorization method in response to sensory-perceived events (i.e. dreams which can be metaphorically related to one's current emotions, reactions, and life situations). funny how often times, depending on the degree of cruelty in a situation, the former can be yet more jubilant than the latter. and by the way, if no one else understands the nature/terms of these dreams of which you speak in this post, I, being in a situation PAINFULLY similar to yours, can 100% relate. lets start a support group. im not even kidding.
