the recurring problem
of cleaning the anniversary
clock is that it is

easily knocked slightly skew
& the pendulum rubs against
the base slowing the mechanism

a second every so often
until I'm thinking it is time
to change the battery only

to remember the works
are likely just off center
reposition the front

feet a few twiddles & watch

hope all's good in bisbee. things are good in seattle. saw a handsome hardcover pricey mac low at an appointment-only bookstore this weekend & thought of you.

Thanks Josh--it's great to be in a shared thinkspace with Jackson Mac Low. Glad you're doing well. No new chapbooks, though the title on the next one is probably Like Fun. Will let you know when it exists, hopefully next year.
