I feel like I haven't read SPN fic in FOREVER because I'm behind on the episodes and most of the fic posted have spoilers for what I haven't seen yet... So this popped up and a) it was you and b) no spoilers, yay!

I really loved the idea of this, even if the ending was so painful, imagining Dean, who probably remembers how much he idolized his father, having to keep relearning that John's gone, always grieving because he never remembers longer to get beyond it.

This was great, sweetie!
