Quilt for the Cure!

May 19, 2009 22:08

At long last I've finished piecing the quilt that I decided to make to raise money for the Komen Race for the Cure.

I've taken tomorrow off and will hopefully get it quilted and then sew on the binding -- then? -- I'm bringing it to work on Thursday and will be selling raffle tickets.

Wow, well thank you very much. Even though I have been quilting for a long time, I am still what I feel is a beginner...so you really made my day :-)

Thanks, sweetie. If you want a little something (maybe a wall hanging or table runner) for your new home and in honor of you nuptuals, let me know. Just send me some colors you'd like to see in it.

Oh, that is such a lovely offer! We've got (or will have) lots of muted colors in the living room. (Tyson's furniture is taupe.) Bedrooms will be a little brighter with both deep reds and dark blues.

*big hugs*
