Who will be Speaker?

A rather tantalising (if putative at the moment) prospect may be on the cards, should John Bercow decide to stick by his avowed intent to give up the Speakership after 9 years (which would be in 2018). The bookies have 2 main favourites, as outlined here (from The Fail - sorry ( Read more... )

I would flail myself into a coma if either one became Speaker, although they'd have to muder Bercow to get there. The last coup attempt ended up with a Tory MP crying.

(BTW, just catching the end of QT after Newsnight (tiny FDR clip awwwwww talk about fandom), but I can't cope with Piers Moron and Chris Greyskull this close to the inaugration).
