Mystery solved!

I like the phrase "milk float". We don't have those in the US, and it just sounds like something magic. Or a cross between a milkshake and root beer float.

But what was the secret mission? Was it successful?

It's still secret (and ongoing for this year for at least another week). I think it was successful. Amusingly, the man from the government, who came round on Monday and saw the secret project, was keen to have a go. But it wasn't really his area of expertise. He was supposed to be recording data instead.
