New post-Reichenbach Falls story

Yeah, okay, so I started this because of FEELINGS, I wrote it in a 2-day gallop, and it has been noted to be, and I quote, "fluffier than a kitten made of marshmallow". DON'T JUDGE ME I NEEDED TO FIX ALL THE THINGS.

Two in as many days? Wow.

And Talisker is my favourite whiskey btw. As soon as I saw that I pulled it out the cupboard for authenticity and atmosphere.

Mmm, a feat not to be repeated any time soon, I suspect!

Talisker is my favourite, also. What a coincidence that it is also Lestrade's. :D

How are you so awesome?

Where is sequel to Postscript???? I LOVE Postscript. How can you make standing in a train interesting? And interior-monologue fic which I hate and find endlessly self-indulgent -- how can you make i-mf fascinating and exciting?? It's all the litte details, I suspect: Lestrade sucking on John's neck, commuter's tucked-in chins, Lestrade's next shift. And god, the last line!!!!! The last line was completely unexpected!

Count this as your feedback, left in a random comment and not at all where it's supposed to go....

It isn't finished! But it's not not-finished like Postscript was not-finished for 16 months; it is not-finished but slowly building on itself. Some day. *g*

And wait but ALL my fic is interior-monologue, isn't it? Or do you mean, no dialogue?

Comment feedback is welcome anywhere. :)

Danger Night had totally a lot of non-interior monologue! People dialogued. Items were described. Settings were described. Acts were performed. \0/

Hee. It's a very beautiful game, and seemed suited to a Canadian shack story. And since it was all my brain was doing when the shack challenge opened, I worked with what I had!

I am having disturbing thoughts. Because why did I not read these when you first posted them? I am looking at the date stamps. I was here the whole time! I was glued to my screen, scouring the world for Sherlock squee!

Or so I thought.
