this is such a sweet story, again with the little details like the crossword guy and the miniature toys being thrown at gd. i like the way you incorporated their official introduction into a single afterthought, along with the angst where history threatened to repeat itself.
i have to say, though, i actually thought chaerin was the one leaving because of the way the dialogue was tagged in that section, and i was really confused until i read it more closely and saw that it was possible to be the other way.
also, i'm wondering if there is a way to stop the music from loading when this page is opened? i had to mute my speakers and stop what i was doing so that my browser wouldn't keep lagging.

i think it might be easier to follow if cl's actions appeared between her dialogue and gd his? having it the opposite way is what made me think she was leaving instead of him.
again, the "pointless details" are one of my favorite things about your writing. and in my experience one-shots don't have any kind of maximum length caps, just not a multi-chapter? that's how i see it, anyway, and i'd hate for you feel like you need to cut out any additional ideas or limit what comes naturally just to meet someone's idea of a "correct" word count.
