Today I had surgery. I was a one-hour local anesthesia-only procedure to remove the lump under my arm. Mmmm.... chocolate croissants. Oh, and the Killers album is really good, even if cheezy. Revel in the cheeziness!

Do you like Madlib and MF Doom (and the rest of the Stone's Throw family--Quasimoto, Madvillain...)?

I do like Stone's Throw, though I have only recently gotten into them...am still figuring out what's what. Any particular reccomendations? Though of course I know about Madvillain...

Of course you know about Madvillain, so here are some other names that I'm still indoctrinating into myself:
Yesterday's New Quintet and its rendition of Stevie Wonder songs (on "Stevie")...Madlib's old gang, Lootpack...and, I guess "Shades of Blue" was released on the Blue Note label, not Stone's Throw, and there are those who lambast it for being a subpar "remix", but it has become a record I listen to over and over again.
My own verdict on "Stevie" and Lootpack is still inconclusive...but listen away, anyway!
