Fail! Kemaru :Leaving (prologue )
It was no secret, during the time spent in Xing, Kevin and Kibum were for each other, and only each other. No matter what obstacle came their way, they were able to progress through it and come out stronger, and with the help of the fangirls (their support anyways) Kemaru was safe and sound. But everything came crashing down the day Kibum told Kevin that they need to talk.
“Kevin…I have something I need to tell you.” Kibum said while staring out the window of their shared room, he couldn’t possibly look at Kevin.
“What is it Kibummie Hyung.” Kevin said trying to keep his voice steady, he only ever used honorifics with Kibum with it seemed serious, and this was one of those times.
“I’m leaving.”
“You’re…leaving…me?” Kevin said as he started to get teary eyed. What did he do wrong? Why was Kibum leaving him all of a sudden? Is it someone else? Was Kevin not good enough anymore? Did Kibum want more from Kevin? Kevin started to panic as realization set in, it was very obvious Kibum wanted more from Kevin than what he was ready and willing to give.
“Kevin it’s not about you I promise!” Kibum said turning around with worry etched on his face, he knew before he even started talking that Kevin would take it the wrong way and blame himself, he had to reassure him before he started to hyperventilate, it was the least he could do because he knew he couldn’t stop the tears that were to come.
“I’m leaving the company Kevin,” Kibum looked away as Kevin clasped his hand over his mouth to muffle a cry and gasp “It’s not working out for me here. I’m sorry. I know you have a contract and can’t leave them, and I know you wouldn’t want to anyways Kevin. I love you, you know that, but if I leave with all your schedules there will be no time to spend together. Hell we’ve lived with each other and barely had time to spend together.”
Kevin looked down, understanding dawning on him, he knew very well the pain both him and Kibum felt, being under the same roof and in the same bed at night but too tired to talk for more than 5 minutes without one of them falling asleep.
“Will….will you….are we over?” Kevin asked his voice shaky with tears just waiting to burst.
Kibum strode over to Kevin and kissed him softly on the lips while wrapping his arms around his waist.
“It has to be this way Kevin,” he started to wipe away Kevin’s tears before they had even started to fall “my things are packed…and I’m leaving in an hour. I’m sorry for telling you so late. It would be best if we stopped all contact so you can get over me.”
“Can…you hold me…until you have to leave please?” Kibum sighed, but took Kevin’s hand and gently lead him to their once shared bed. They curled up with Kevin’s face buried into Kibum’s chest while he sobbed for everything he was losing, his best friend, his group mate, his hyung, his love.
An hour passed quicker than either one of them wanted it to. But it was time for Kibum to go. The cab was waiting outside to take him to his brothers (and now his own) apartment.
Kibum said his goodbyes to the rest of the group members and was about to head out the door, when he looked to the corridor to the kitchen to find Kevin looking paler than normal. He walked over and smiled softly.
“I’ll miss you. Kevin…I love you.” Kibum tried to lean over and kiss Kevin’s lips one last time but was stopped by a hand.
“Don’t lie to me…Please don’t lie to me anymore Hyung.” With that said Kevin walked away silent tears streaming down his cheeks. He walked straight into his now single bedroom, regretting everything he had just done.
Kibum stood there shell shocked. Did Kevin hate him now? Was Kevin really not going to miss him, was the last thing he was going to hear from his angle be that? He had no choice but to suck up the tears that threatened to fall and continue onwards and out the door. Kibum knew he should have, but he didn’t look back once on his way from the door to the cab. If he did, he would have seen Kevin waving good bye to him whispering “I love you too.”
First fic, I know it sucks x__x; it really sucks and i most likely have a lot of grammatical errors…. And yeah idk what im gonna do with this so one shot? xD idk…. :] ty for reading? Comments are lovely be as brutally honest as you wish~
