What if…
Onew looked around to find his lover but he was nowhere to be found. He checked all rooms one by one, still he couldn’t find his lover. He titled his head, their apartment was not so broad but why it was so hard to find something.
He decided to go to his room first to hide a tiny box on his hands far from Jonghyun. It would be a surprise for the younger man. Onew giggle happily imagining how the younger would react when he presented it.
“Jonghyunnie….” He called as he walked out from their room, still looking for his lover. He smiled as he heard a small yelp from the kitchen then he went straight to got there. Of course he knew whose voice it was.
Onew couldn’t help but giggle seeing his lover who was trying to cook something. “Hyunnie, what’s dish you’re making right now?” he asked walking closer toward Jonghyun.
Jonghyun looked across his lover over his shoulder, “I’m making omelet for our lunch,” he smiled at Onew before returning to cook his omelet.
“Need help?”
Jonghyun gave a quick peck on Onew’s lips, “No, it’s okay. I can handle it by myself,” he told softly.
Onew raised an eyebrow, “Are you sure?”
Looking across Onew for a moment, “I am, Onew baby,” he cooed.
Onew just nodded before walked to the dining table chair. He pulled his knee to his chest as he watched his lover who was busy making lunch for the two of them. Onew’s plump lips formed a small smile remembering it would not be just the two of them, soon.
“Hyunnie,” Onew called softly to break the silent between them.
Jonghyun just hummed him.
Onew went to Jonghyun again. “Hyunnie,” he called again a little whined.
Jonghyun stopped whatever he was doing right now and paid his attention fully to his lover, “Yes, Onew baby?” he cooed again before chuckled.
Onew smiled shyly, “Hyunnie… It’s just a hypothetical,” looking deep onto Jonghyun’s eyes as he reached for Jonghyun’s wrist to grip on, “What if… I’m pregnant?” Onew said with low and soft voice. He kept smiling while waiting for Jonghyun to respond. He knew his question was ridiculous yet he wanted to know.
Jonghyun just stared at his lover with unreadable expression making Onew nervous then he smiled softly. “Then, it’ll be a miracle if you really are.”
Onew’s smile got wider. He thought at first his lover would freak out if he said that, “If I’m really pregnant, what will you do?” Onew asked curious with bright eyes. Silently, he kept wishing Jonghyun would say something what he wished for.
Jonghyun thought for a moment, smilling, “Of course I’ll take responsibility and marry to you,” his smiled softened, “Then we life as a family with our babies,” he said before leaned closer to kiss Onew’s cheek, “I love you,” he whispered in Onew’s ear making the older man blushed.
Onew couldn’t hide his flush cheeks. He smiled across the younger as his free hand rubbed his flat stomach. “Our babies…” he murmured under his soft breath, looking down at his stomach.
Jonghyun watched the older man was rubbing his stomach lovingly, looked like a real mother always did. “Onew-hyung, are you-” he was cut off by Onew’s question.
“Hyunnie, you want a baby girl or boy for our first child? Or maybe both?” Onew asked got more excited while rubbing his stomach. His smile never left on his lips and his eyes got brighter waiting for Jonghyun’s answer making the younger felt uneasy.
“A baby girl,” Jonghyun answered quickly before grabbed Onew’s shoulders, “Hyung, are you really pregnant?” Jonghyun asked sounding disbelief. Actually he didn’t know how to react if he was really going to be a father, a father of his lover’s child because it's a miracle for both of them beside he never thought or dreamt about having a biological child from his lover. Jonghyun dropped his gaze to Onew’s still flat stomach for a moment before looking deep onto Onew’s eyes again.
Onew just looked deep into Jonghyun’s eyes. He couldn’t hide his smile and giggle but he tried to hide it with biting his lips hard, seeing how nervous and surprised Jonghyun’s face right now. His surprised was a big hit for the younger man.
Seeing a smile on Onew’s lips making him more nervous, he didn't know why. He wanted to shout in front of the older to ask it was true or not that he was carrying his child but he chose to wait patiently. It’s not good making the preggers surprised.
“So?” Jonghyun dare to ask once again.
Onew paused for a moment and nodded his head a little before looked away from the younger to hide his flush cheeks. He slowly closed his eyes shut waiting for the younger that would kiss or hug him or at least congratulate him. But the things he knew a moment later after he shut his eyes were he felt Jonghyun’s tight grips on his shoulders were gone and he heard a loud thud in front of him. Onew opened his eyes wondering what was happening. He couldn’t hold his giggle knowing what was just happening.
Jonghyun fainted.
Onew knelt beside the dead body of Jonghyun, his surprise was a great hit for the younger. “Jonghyunnie, wake up!” Onew said between his rich giggle. “Hyunnie…” Onew poked his cheek hard. Giggling cheerfully, “Hyunnie, I was just joking, I’m not pregnant. So, wake up,” Onew kept demanding to the younger to wake up, “Actually, I have just bought puppies for us, one girl and one boy. They’re so cute and fluffy. Sure they’ll be our cute babies!” he frowned while playing with Jonghyun’s lips, “That’s why I joked telling you I’m pregnant, but I’m not hyunnie, I wanted to make you surprised and it worked,” he said cheerfully then pouted his lips dissatisfied, “But, you’re fainted, not funny….”
Onew sighed, the younger still unconscious on the floor. A mischievous smile form on Onew’s lips, he got a great idea to help the younger sober up.
A kiss from their beloved babies to wake their papa.
