So, i shall go to the ball....and the rest of the SteamPunk weekend in Lincoln. Just finaly booked into the Holiday Inn Express. Its a tad far out and it a little pricey for one, but i had been faffing on booking somewhere and it was available. On the upside i've got a double room with sofa bed for just me and my wardrobe, so it should be nice and

One thing to bear in mind; apparently it is frowned upon for a gentleman to wear a hat at the ball! Kind of complicated Rob's outfit plans for the evening, as he'll have hat-hair from his daytime attire.

Actualy most times i am inside, particularly when sat down, i remove my hat. I would always in a Church too. Come from part of the training of going to a semi-military boarding school and having dress parades on Sundays !
