Getting peeved with not being organised on the festival front, so started making so headway.

I'm definitely doing :

WGW - Whitby - 21-27 April

Already got ticket and booked cottage. Will drive up via Leeds and have Amanda staying in the other room, so apart from the drive, this is all sorted.

Wave Gothic Treffen - Leipzig - 20-25 MayLooking at ( Read more... )

Well i will be going to Amphi, can't do Waregem this year, as it clashes with a wedding on the friday, and DV8 festival on the saturday and sunday.

Apart from that, i think my schedule is very simliar to yours!!

I'm quite upset about missing DV8 fest. Any other weekend and i'd have shuffled round it.

I'm tempted with Amphi, even though its close and i can see me getting moaned at Holidaywise. But i really liked it a couple of years back and the nice Raddison Hotel is quite cheap at the moment. Similar price to some of the cheaper ones on the right side of the river bank.

Me too. I only managed to go to one but it was great fun. I hear rumours, but thats about it so far and it is getting late to announce something. I may have to go completely the other way that weekend and do Twinwoods which is a 1940s Glen Miller Festival instead !!!

Alien Sex Fiend have just confirmed for Waregem and it was such a nice friendly festival. Plus the campsite was reasonable and quiet at night, but easy going during the day.

Yeah i missed the last few infests due to doing a localish re enactment gig but i have promissed myself this august bank holliday of from being an unpaid public entertainer.
I wouldn't mind taking Das Panzer Waggon onto the continent for the Waregen do and as i have never driven on the wrong side of the road it could be VERY interesting!!!!
This would enable me to take my Uber medieval or 18th century tent to camp in that could be nice!

Waregem is close as the European festivals go. You can do the Tunnel to Calais and its only a couple of hours drive.

I seem to also recall having a look at Ferries last year as i contemplated driving myself before i got a lift and Oostend is less than an hour. Though i belive the ferry is quite a bit longer.
