They shut off my water like ever week or two for something or another it seems. Thankfully they always tell us in advance so we can fill up a few buckets of water just for that reason. I feel like a goddamn tennessee hillbilly. They need to just fix whatever the problem is and leave us the hell alone. At least it's getting done at this time of year which means they don't want to be outside and they are going to work as hard as they can and get it done. If this was nice weather it would take them twice as long. I know, I worked for the local county highway department... we spent 4-5 hours a day between driving to the job, getting breakfast, eating lunch, talking to each other, and bullshitting. If it wasn't like 100 degrees out in the sun, it would have been the greatest job ever.
