Limit Breakdancing!
H'llo there. I got stamped a long while ago as Auron. It's been quite a while and I recently started playing FFXII, so I figured I'd give this another go and see what you all think.
The Basics of your personality.
Name/Nickname? Andy
Gender? Male
Age? (No one under 13, please) 22
Zodiac? Leo
Would you like to be rated as a girl/boy/no matter? Boy, plz. Although I guess I'm open to female votes if they're the only thing that appears.
Favorite color? Why? I like blues and grays, but I'm also kind of fond of purple as the color, but nothing I'd wear regularly. *shrug*
Favorite FF game? Why? ...Is it too hasty for me to say 12? Because as an old-school gamer who has given the new-school FFs a shot (and either liked (FFX), didn't like (FFX-2), or just plain avoided (Dirge of Cerberus))... I love it. I love the exploration I've been able to do, I like the characters, and I like the little old school touches here and there (like the opening music, for example). Close second would go to FFIV, then FFX, then FFIII.
Favorite FF Character? Why? ...Dang. This is a tough one. Um. I have a soft spot for Beatrix because she's one of the few FF characters (other than Quistis) which I crushed on. But I guess I'll go with Cecil, because he had internal conflict before Cloud and Squall made it the norm. Plus, his personal transformation was incredible. I received much glee from pulverizing undead monsters in his paladin form after not being able to do so on the trek up Mt. Ordeals. :D
Are there any FF Characters you dislike? Sephiroth. I don't find him scary, I don't find him cool, and I certainly don't find him "sexy." Theme music? Cool. But I'm really sick of hearing about him being such a cool villain. As Squall would say: "...Whatever."
Hobbies/talents? Hobbies? Creative writing, meditating, reading, listening to music and creating mixes, cooking, jogging. Talents? I have an incredible green thumb (I'm able to keep plants alive for a long time), empathy, insight, and I'm told I'm good at karaoke.
What are your strong attributes? Compassionate, accepting of unusual people and situations, motivated, logical, patient, intuitive, multifaceted, loyal.
What are your weak attributes? Stubborness (I sometimes refuse to let people help me do certain things unless I know I REALLY need help), slow to trust people (which is something that I'm improving on for the people who really matter), prone to feel guilty, tendency to overthink, tendency to fail to live up to my self-expectations, a bit too idealistic for my own good.
Optimistic or Pessimistic? Both. Optimistic for other people, tendency to be too pessimistic for myself, realistic in most situations.
Extroverted or Introverted? (Outgoing or Shy) ...both. More introverted because too many people drains energy out of me, but I can be outgoing when I need to be and depending on the environment/my mood.
Confident or Modest? Modest, historically a bit too much so.
Mature or Immature? I've always been a bit too mature, even when I liked watching cartoons regularly. I kind of isolated myself from other kids as a result, but eh.
Logical or Intuitive? ...Both? Intuition is definitely my stronger suit. I tend to know things without knowing WHY I know them.

What are some things you love? Friends, family, books, music, coffee, dogs, philosophical conversations, spicy things... same old, same old.
What are some things you absolutely hate and despise? Unprovoked rudeness, intolerance, racism, stupid religious people, stupid nonreligious people, sleazy yuppie types, pedophiles. I can't think of much else right now.
What weapon would you use? Hmmm. I normally say staff or spear for this question, but lately I feel like it would be cool to be different and to use two kamas or sickles instead. I like them.
What superpower would you have if you could only have one superpower (e.g. invisibility, mind-reading) and why? Invisible force-fields. That way I could protect people, bounce off bullets and other bad guy superpowers, and if I'm really feeling mischievous, I could make friends bump into them now and then. :D
If you could be any animal, which would you be? Why? Hmmm. Things do change, don't they? It used to be a wolf, but now I think I'm going to say a mongoose. Unusual, but quick and protective; legendary for protecting people against something deadly. Rikki Tikki Tavi!
What are a few items you just couldn't live without? I wish I could say "Nothing! I am totally absolved from worldly posessions!" and I do think I could live without these... I'm rather fond of my iPod and my laptop (and Internet connection!), as well as most of my books. Right now, though, my most precious possession is the recipe box and cards my grandmother got me for Christmas, with an old notebook filled with her recipes. If anything happens to them, I will give the responsible person a beatdown. Even if that's myself.
Would you rather have a ton of money and power or a ton of friends and supporters? Why? Hmmm. If I had to choose? Friends and supporters. More permanent, more substantial, and less likely to make you corrupt or idiotic.
You find that one of your most treasured possessions has disappeared. What do you think is the most likely cause of the disappearance? I misplaced it somewhere.
You have one day (or week?) to live, how do you spend it? Partly with the people I care about, partly by myself and making peace with the things I still don't like about myself.
Are family or friends more important to you and why? Nobody said they had to be mutually exclusive. :)
What is your most cherished memory? Why? Eh, I can't rank them. Graduating was pretty nice, though.

What do you think you'll be doing in 5-10 years? Either working at the job I'm at right now, which I actually kinda like, or I'm back in grad school/working as a hospice nurse or a forensic psychologist.
