Title: Island of Confusion Characters: Girl!Cloud, OPEN When: Not long after talking with Zidane Where: Outside of the Village Warnings: Fighting? Summary: Cloud goes to wander the island after meeting Zidane.
Zack had only been wandering when he had spotted the familiar blond from afar and began to make his way towards his old friend. It felt like so long since he had last seen Cloud, and he had been hoping to sneak up on the other when he accidentally brushed against the leaves, and instantly heard Cloud speak up. Oh well, so much for surprises.
Zack stepped out from behind the bushes, his hands up to concede that he had been caught. "Hey, you're not gonna attack a friend, are ya Spike?" He asked with a grin. It really had been a long time since he had seen Cloud, and a lot had happened since then, so when he finally got a closer look at the girl? He could only stare and blink. "Trying a new style, Spike?" Last Zack had seen the blond, the she had been a he, and he knew that for a fact.
All she could do was stand and stare. Zack? No, it couldn't be. The Zack she knew was a woman, but he used the same nickname that she was used to hearing from her friend. There was also another thing that bothered her. Zack was dead. She had died trying to save her from ShinRa.
"Zack?" She finally said after a few minutes of stunned silence. She didn't know if she should be ready for a fight or not. Was this some sort of illusion? She didn't know.
"Really? I'm pretty sure you weren't last I saw you." Though, he now had to think that maybe the experiments had messed with his brain somehow. Still, he was sure that his memories of Cloud were mostly right, and couldn't help but be positive that the last time he had seen his friend, the blond had been of the opposite gender.
Zack began to look a little confused as he scratched the back of his head. "You're not some doppelganger, right?"
Aralyn had been stunned when she had found herself back on Kilika. it had been the first place she had been stationed after leaving Luca when she was nineteen. She had gone to explore to see if it was exactly as she had remembered when Sin had originally attacked. So far, it pretty much was.
She paused when she heard the other voice on the other side of the small stand of trees. Slowly stepping through she held her hands up to show she was unarmed except for the rifle hanging on her back.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," she said with an apologetic smile.
She glanced at the rifle for a moment and then back at the woman. She was smart not going unarmed in this place, but a rifle needed ammunition. Something that could run out at the wrong time. She preferred her sword, but to each their own.
"Who are you?" She asked, not caring if she sounded rude. She didn't like being startled, especially in a place like this.
Tristan had been trying to find his way around this place too. It reminded him a bit of Costa del Sol, but with more forest and more monsters. He wasn't trying to be quiet... he just wanted to get back to the village after exploring.
"Tristan?" She said, letting her hand drop back down to her side. She was glad to see him, though it really didn't show on her face. She did visibly relax a little bit as she glanced around. Her guard was up still, she wasn't about to totally let it down in a place that she didn't know.
