There was something about the place that reminded him of Gongaga, which wasn't the best of feelings. Add the coffins and Rain was very uneasy. At least he could see the sky again, which was one bright side. ...But those coffins.

It shouldn't bother him so much, he tried to reason with himself. After all, he wouldn't know anyone inside them, but the fact they were there just made him feel upset. He had dealt with enough death in his life and having to face more, even if it was unknown people, just put him in a dark mood.

Rain?! Dammit, why had Angeal thought it was a good idea to come out here? Guiltily, he reversed direction, hoping he hadn't been seen.

His stomach gave another little rumble -- one of several, this morning.

Rain finally looked away from the coffins to see Angeal turn and walk away. In made his heart drop a bit, because clearly the man wanted nothing to do with him. Not that he could blame the other man, not after what happened. But to know that Angeal was avoiding him hurt none the less.

He started to call out to him, but stopped. Angeal didn't want to see or talk to him, so why force him? Instead Rain let his words die off and hang his head.

He winced as he heard Rain start to call his name, then stop. He should explain, to avoid hurting him even more. Didn't want Rain to think it was his fault. Rain blamed himself a lot, Angeal knew.

With a heavy sigh, he turned back, walking towards Rain, again. "Not your fault. Just wanted to be alone." He gave a sad half-smile.
