Twitter help!

I'm hoping that someone here who is more Twitter-knowlegeable than I am can help me. Every time I try to update at the Twitter website from my computer, I get a window that pops up saying that I need to enter my username and password to access Twitter.com's server. I enter my username and my password, and then my Internet Explorer automatically

I'm not sure about the IE issue. But have you tried Firefox? It's a more stable browser, and it lets me use twitter with no problem.

If you do start using FF, there's a Twitter app called TwitterFox that lets you update your twitter from the corner of your browser, no matter what website you're on.

If you're determined to use IE, you may try checking the minimum requirements on the Twitter site to see if you're missing some kind of java or flash level. Though, I'm pretty sure Twitter doesn't use those.

I downloaded Firefox yesterday and have no longer had problems with Twitter. It let me import all of my favorites from IE, though I did have to re-download RealPlayer so that I can save videos from YouTube. But overall, I think I'm really liking Firefox so far. :)
